Yoshinkan Aikido - Meishinkan Dojo

Meishinkan Dojo

The Meishinkan Dojo was officially certified by the Honbu Dojo in 1999.  The first group was taught out of the Prisco Community Center through the Fox Valley Park District.  Classes are still offered at that location.  The name Meishinkan was given to Sensei Kevin Bradley by Chida Tsutomu, 8th Dan, and Head Instructor of the Yoshinkan Honbu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan.  Because Sensei Bradley’s first teaching experience was with children with disabilities and because his philosophy is that anyone is welcome to train at the Dojo, the name loosely translates to “The House of the Spirit of Sharing”.   

Today, the Meishinkan Dojo consists of two clubs/locations.  They are:
